Hello my Darlings!
I'll be a whirlwind of tassel-twirling temptation while in San Francisco this weekend for the amazing 4th TeaseORama Burlesque Convention! All my activities are posted at www.missindigoblue.com/calendar.htm, but here's the quickie:
Thurs 9/29: Opening Party at Cafe DuNord, 2170 Market St. 9pm, $8. I'll be watching my favorite dancers, including the outrageous and super naughty Miss Lydia McLane (around 10pm!)
Friday 9/30: First night of Performances at Bimbo's, 1025 Columbus @Chestnut. I'm doing a tassel-twirling demo around 10pm, and you might catch me in some of my vintage swimsuits & rubber bathing caps in the Fishbowl at Bimbo's Bar! I'm hoping to see Adonna Vichet of Hollywood, Fancy Chance of BurlyQ-London, and Academy of Burlesque graduates The Von Foxies on stage, along with heart-stopping headliners the Wau Wau Sisters!
Saturday 10/1: I'm teaching Basic Burlesque Dance from 11-12 at 2170 Market St., then Tassel Twirling from 1-2 at the same location. And, at the Final night of Performances at Bimbo's, I'll be performing my amazing Brazil-inspired Waterfall routine around 11:30pm on the mainstage! Chica Boom of Burly-Q Seattle will be showing her amazing skills in the 8pm hour, and BurlyQ-London does their group number at 11, and all topped by the spectacular sensation that is Dirty Martini!
Sunday 10/2: TwirlyGirl and Miss Indigo Blue merchandise will be available all weekend, and your last chance to get it is today from 11-4 at 2170 Market St! And...I'll be spouting wisdom on a panel about Burlesque and Women's Liberation 1:30 - 2:30 at the same location!
